St Stithians College, in partnership with Scripture Union hosted its inaugural Youth Worship event. This year's theme, 'Salvation for All' (aligned with Wesleyan theology), complemented the campus theme, 'One for All, and All for One.' The event was a resounding success, attracting participants from diverse backgrounds and fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

Mandela Day reflects our commitment to community service and the values that Nelson Mandela embodied.

Last weekend, the Grade 6A and 7A hockey teams embarked on a journey to St. Anne’s for their annual U13 hockey festival.

Mandela Day serves as a significant day in the South African calendar, and we at St Stithians take immense pride in celebrating Nelson Mandela's legacy through acts of kindness on 18 July. This year, we held our second collaborative Mandela Day initiative involving all three schools: Junior Prep, Boys' Prep, and Girls' Prep.

Just before half term, we were delighted to welcome the arrival of a delegation of twelve students and two teachers from fellow Round Square school, Ballarat Grammar, from just outside Melbourne, Australia.

Last Wednesday, the Grade 5s at Girls' Prep enjoyed a special morning celebrating their journey and future aspirations at the inaugural "Counting Back and Dreaming Forward" event.

The Matric Dance held on 28 June 2024 was an enchanting event, with Mears Hall transformed into a magical winter wonderland.

In honour of Mandela Day, our GC students, parents and College Ops Dept collaborated with Leratong Primary School in Orlando East, for what we are calling "Mandela Month". Promoting reading, through the donation of books and the creation of educational toys, the opening of the library this Mandela Day was special!

The Girls’ College Grade 11 students embarked on a vibrant isiZulu Cultural Tour over half term, exploring the rich traditions, history, and language of the Zulu culture. From engaging with local communities to experiencing traditional music, dance, and cuisine, it was an unforgettable journey of learning and connection.
