Our Old Stithian Reunions in Australia and New Zealand offered a wonderful opportunity for celebration and connection.

In honour of Mandela Day, the Girls’ College supported Mpho Mmasechaba’s initiative, SwaraganoNPO by transforming Mandela Day into Mandela Month.

On Wednesday 12 June, the Grade Six Social Sciences students flipped the classroom. Instead of the content being taught and the teacher asking questions, the boys drafted their own questions after being provided with the study material.

In honour of Father's Day, we celebrated all our fathers and the father figures in our community during our Father’s Day Service in the chapel. We had a wonderful record turnout of dads and grandads coming out to support their boys.

Mandela's spirit of selflessness and service to humanity was truly embodied on this memorable day.

We were extremely blessed at the Girls’ Preparatory, just before half term, when Thabo Maluleke, a well-known TV personality from SABC 1’s YOTV, addressed our girls as a guest speaker.

There was much catching up and reconnecting with old friends, as well as establishing bonds with new friends from different years.
