Thank you Witkoppen Vaccination Team!

July 08, 2021 | Campus | Author: Kim Urquhart, Head of Human Resources

As the national vaccination rollout within the education sector comes to an end this week, we wanted to do something to thank all the healthcare workers who have worked tirelessly over the last few weeks to vaccinate thousands of teachers and support staff within public and private schools. St Stithians College was assigned to Witkoppen Clinic and today we surprised the 200 staff working at the clinic with a little snack pack to get them through the day.

A big thank you to Tally Ditend and the Empact catering team for putting together the packs and to the College Advancement team for branding and delivering them on our behalf.

The Witkoppen Staff were not only greatly appreciative but also quite emotional that they had been noticed and thanked.  One of the nurses, Johannes Mandla said he believes he has personally vaccinated over 500 Saints staff over the last 2 weeks.

We received this message of thanks thiis evening  from Ms Metsing, the site manager at Witkoppen.

Please pass my greatest gratitude to the Principal of the school and the great Team.
We are truly humbled by the kind gesture especially in these turbulent times.
May they be blessed even more and continue with their beautiful and kind humanity. We truly need such humaneness especially now more than ever.
We appreciate them ✨

We appreciate you!  Thank you to all the staff at Witkoppen clinic for Making a world of difference.
