STEAM - Outdoor Education
As a rural science student, one of Ms Zondo’s most memorable experiences was learning outside. She recalls being awestruck by the wonderful, healing properties of an aloe plant. Outdoor education piqued her interest as a youngster, and learning outside the classroom helped shape Ms Zondo into the innovative science teacher that St Stithians Girls’ Prep is fortunate to have today.

IBL STEAM Lessons
In the past six weeks, we have seen a high level of engagement and wonderment in our IBL-STEAM lessons. The mystery of two sex cells that form a living body has been the focal point in our Biology section. Students have asked us some tough, yet fascinating, questions and this has revealed an extraordinary level of thinking. We are extremely proud of our students’ inquisitive nature.
