Diversity and Transformation Barazza

February 08, 2021 | Girls’ Preparatory | Author: Leluma Posholi

We heard and watched testimonies of young people who were treated with kindness and love by their peers. The girls were challenged to spread the message of inclusion and kindness to their peers.

The girls produced videos to highlight what they have learned during the Barazzas.

Here is some feedback from Eryn Appalsamy, grade 6.

"The Barazza activity we had this week on Tuesday was fun. I learnt that we are all different but absolutely beautiful. If our skin colour, eyes, and height is different that does not make us less intelligent, less important, less special or less beautiful. We easily judge each other without even knowing others at all and it is a horrible thing to do. Never judge others without getting to know them!"

Grade 5s used their creativity and shared these two videos around the Theme.
