It also fits with our forward-looking focus on doing girls' education Inside Out - using our stunning campus as a big outdoor classroom, doing teamwork and leadership development activities, and, discovering what the fauna and flora of Saints can teach us about African indigenous knowledges and ways of knowing. The idea of educating Inside Out also resonates with our commitment to character education, girls' empowerment, and learning by encountering the environment in different ways.

This past weekend, the Kamoka staff kindly agreed to host a group of our teachers for a professional development session of experiencing, for themselves, what the natural world, at Kamoka Bush School, can teach us and how we might link this with our Sandton Campus. We are grateful to Steve and Kerry Baytopp, and their team of expert facilitators and field guides, for sharing their enthusiasm and wisdom with our GP Team. I am grateful to our dedicated staff for giving of their time and talent: Thobeka Mngambi; Cebo Zondo; Thabang Buthelezi; Mmats Modipane; Leluma Posholi; Gontse Busakwe (our 2021 Grade 3 teacher); Lizelle du Plessis and Mary Kyd.
