Girls' Prep had the honour of formally welcoming Reverend Gift to St Stithians College during his induction service.

World Read Aloud Day was celebrated in true St Stithians style on 7 February; we went big! For the first time ever, all 2600 students from the BC, GC, GP, BP and JP, spent an hour engaging in a whole-campus reading activity.

Girls' Prep Grade 6 and 7 students recently enjoyed the most wonderful camps where they learnt invaluable life lessons

We welcomed the Grade 7s into the Chapel as our new Girls’ Preparatory leaders of 2024. Here, we witnessed them pledge to Honour God, Honour Others and Honour Self as part of the St Stithians code of conduct.

We are thrilled to have our campus abuzz with the sounds of happy students. Our return to school on 17 January was a special day for the Girls’ Prep as we had new and returning students joining us for their first day back.

Our Grade 7 students embarked on a unique journey with their annual fashion show. This year's theme, "Techno," challenged them to create evening outfits using only recycled materials. As they delved into the creative process, they encountered hurdles that stretched far beyond the sewing machine.

The Grade 4, 5 and 6s enjoyed their various camp excursions during October. Their time away was full of fun, interactive activites and many team building events. An experience that will never be forgotton.

Levels of competitiveness reached epic proportions at our recent combined interhouse music and athletics meeting. All tastes and interests were catered for as our girls sang, danced, ran, jumped and cheered their way to the finish line. What a day of fun and festivities – we already cannot wait for next year’s contest!

Girls' Prep have launched a reading challenge to the girls! Our teachers wait with bated breath to see if our 'reading rocket' will reach the moon before the end of Term, because if it does, they will be ice-bucket challenged!

The Grade 5–7 girls from the Girls’ Preparatory School set the stage ablaze with their senior production, ‘Girl on Fire: The Journey of Alunamda’. This heartfelt production explored the true essence of our theme for 2023, what it means to be a ‘Girl on Fire’.
