Excitement mounts in the Prep Schools as PrepFest draws near.

We welcomed all the new Grade Three boys and parents into the Boys' Prep on the first day of school. The Grade Seven buddies were all present in the car park, to accompany their little brothers to their class rooms, and help with those bags that looked so big for these little boys! Mr Fredericks also welcomed all the parents back to school for the new year school year in his Welcome Letter.

Sport plays a very important part in the life of a Boys' Prep student, and he is encouraged to attempt as many activities as possible, until he finds that one sport that he loves. We celebrate a few ways in which our boys have been keeping active over the past few months.

We welcomed our new Grade Three boys into the Boys’ Prep on Saturday 16 January.

Our annual Boys' Prep DPHS Tour is a well-loved tradition boasting some great sport and camaraderie...this year was no exception.

The Boys' Prep and Junior Prep staff were fortunate to have teacher, headtacher, teacher developer and author of "The Learning Rainforest: Great Teaching in Real Classrooms" and "Rosenshine's Principles in Action" do staff development at the beginning of Term 3.

Congratulations to our St Stithians College Preparatory team who won their SANESA group category at the Gauteng Johannesburg Regional Awards Evening held on 1 August 2019.

We provide some reasons why children should participate in both sport and cultural activities that are on offer at Boys' Prep.

On March 12, 50 people—including 33 parents, as well as various college coaches and administrators—were charged in six U.S. states over an alleged racketeering (a.k.a. fraudulent business) scheme. They’re accused of facilitating cheating as well as bogus athletic admissions to increase kids’ chances of getting into American colleges such as Yale and Stanford. Among those charged are two rather famous actors: Desperate Housewives’s Felicity Huffman and Full House’s Aunt Becky (real name: Lori Loughlin).

Six St Stithians Boys' Prep boys, joined by six girls from Girls' Prep and staff from both schools, recently attended the Round Square Africa Regional Conference for 12 - 14 year olds, hosted by Dainfern College.
