Boys' College and Boys' Prep Art Exhibition

The Cultural Pillar at the Boys’ College not only inspires and motivates our students but embraces form, feeling, surface and symbol, supporting creative and critical thinking skills. The very close interaction between dramatic arts, music, visual art, and clubs and societies illustrates the holistic education boys will experience at the College.

One of the highlights of our 2022 Culture calendar must be the first ever combined Boys’ College and Boys’ Prep Art Exhibition that was held in the Boys’ Prep Art Room in November. A celebration and display of our richness and diversity of culture and creativity.

The purpose of the event was twofold. A celebration of magnificent artworks that our 2022 Matric Class produced, and engaging our senior students with their younger counterparts in a shared love of Art. The event included performances from The Barons and the Dukes as well as the Grade 6 and Grade 7 Marimba bands, who recently won their category at a national competition in George.
