Congratulations to our St Stithians College Preparatory team who won their SANESA group category at the Gauteng Johannesburg Regional Awards Evening held on 1 August 2019.

We provide some reasons why children should participate in both sport and cultural activities that are on offer at Boys' Prep.

On March 12, 50 people—including 33 parents, as well as various college coaches and administrators—were charged in six U.S. states over an alleged racketeering (a.k.a. fraudulent business) scheme. They’re accused of facilitating cheating as well as bogus athletic admissions to increase kids’ chances of getting into American colleges such as Yale and Stanford. Among those charged are two rather famous actors: Desperate Housewives’s Felicity Huffman and Full House’s Aunt Becky (real name: Lori Loughlin).

Six St Stithians Boys' Prep boys, joined by six girls from Girls' Prep and staff from both schools, recently attended the Round Square Africa Regional Conference for 12 - 14 year olds, hosted by Dainfern College.

The Boys' Prep First Cricket Team recently participated in the Prep Schools Cricket Festival in Grahamstown, hosted by Kingswood College.

Since 1986, St Stithians Boys’ Prep and DPHS have competed against each other - some highlights of a great weekend for One and All.

It was bright, colourful and humorous and each boy in the school managed to express himself through acting, music, song or dance in our version of The Jungle Book.

The Boys' Prep First Cricket team toured the UK during the August break. Once again the boys proved to be wonderful ambassadors for St Stithians College, their families and South Africa.

The St Stithians Boys' Prep Marimba were in South America recently attending a music festival in Puerto Iguazu in Argentina and visiting Rio de Janiero in Brazil.

As the leaves fall from the trees and the dew lies thick on the morning grass, it gives us time to reflect on the wonderful work displayed by our boys and staff in the first term of 2018.
