In celebration of Round Square (RS) Rainbow Week following founder Kurt Hahn's birthday (5 June), the Girls' College held a "civvies day" of a different type this year! Students were encouraged to dress up in Round Square colours (black, white, red and gold) and submit a selfie for inclusion in a photo mosaic of the RS logo.

Round Square is an internationally diverse network of 200 like-minded schools in 50 countries on six continents that connect and collaborate to offer world-class programmes and experiences, developing global competence, character and confidence in our students. The Girls’ College has been a member of this network since 1998, and all staff and students are automatically members upon joining the College. Round Square schools are characterised by a shared belief in an approach to education built around six themes, the IDEALS International Understanding, Democracy, Environmental Stewardship, Adventure, Leadership and Service. Ultimately, we want our students to understand that whatever field of work or career they enter into, with a spirit of the Round Square IDEALS they can – and should – make a positive difference in the world as global citizens.
