From Playdough to Plaster: A Journey of Discovery and Creation In Grade RR

Junior Preparatory, Campus

Clay and plaster became materials for investigation and transformation. Children experimented with rolling, pressing and creating impressions, turning playdough flowers into handmade moulds. Mixing plaster of Paris required precision - ratios mattered and its quick setting properties challenged their problem-solving. They hypothesized, adjusted, and shared strategies with peers. The moment of unveiling their creations was filled with wonder - discovering what had emerged from their process. As always, nothing without joy.
