Community Service Projects

WHOLE SCHOOL COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES

From the 5th to the 21st of May the company Toms ran an initiative where for every picture of barefoot posted on Instagram with the #withoutshoes they would donate a brand new pair of shoes to a child in need. Many of our girls took to Instagram posting pictures of their feet. Altogether toms have managed to donate a total of 296243 brand new pairs of shoes to children in need. Our girls were involved in projects on these days making chalkdesks, knitting, serving the community at the Albert Street Schools by teaching, special Olympics with the Sunshine Centre, playing soccer with young children from homes, serving tea to the elderly from the Old Age homes in the area and many other engagements with our partners.  Enjoy the gallery of photos below depicting some of the projects.
