#SaintsExcellence: Lucky Maduna returns to Saints for the Craven and Academy weeks

Mr Lucky Maduna, an Old Stithian, who competed in Craven Week in 1998 is back to cover Craven Week with SuperSport. Lucky is the first student of colour from Saints to compete in the Golden Lions A side at Craven Week, and the fourth student of colour from Saints to compete in the Craven and Academy weeks.

Here are a few of the players of colour from Saints who represented the Golden Lions and the Golden Lions Academy sides from 1993 – 2004:
1993 & 1994: Sipho Makhaya played for the Golden Lions Academy (formerly Transvaal Academy)
1996: Kevin Sibanyoni played for the Golden Lions Academy (formerly Transvaal Academy)
1997: Zwelihle Magojo played for the Golden Lions Academy
1998: Lucky Maduna played for the Golden Lions
1999 & 2000: Andile Ramaphosa played for the Golden Lions
2002 & 2003: Andrew Dikobo played for the Golden Lions
2004: Kgalalelo Lobakeng and Zingane Nyirenda played for the Golden Lions
