MeLT (Mobile e-Learning and Teaching) at the Girls' Prep
Mobile e-Learning and Teaching (MeLT) at the Girls’ Prep continues to adapt to reflect the educational and technological requirements of our students. The Grade 3 to 5 girls attend a one-hour MeLT period every week with their teachers where the EdTech Coach is on hand to assist with activities that integrate IT into the curriculum in an authentic way. What makes technology indispensable in education is that it gives students voice and choice, a meaningful audience and the platform to connect with the community.
The start of 2016 has seen some creative and innovative use of mobile technology in the Girls' Prep. We look forward to seeing the many things that our girls will produce with the many devices at their fingertips.
