Making Music Together

Junior Preparatory, Campus

Fun has been had in Music as our students get to know our enthusiastic new music teacher, Mrs Griffiths. The classroom has been filled with laughter and rhythm, with our Grade 2s learning a lively Ghanaian greeting song and proudly accompanying it on the djembe drum, as well as enjoying the chance to explore melodies on the xylophone. It has been a wonderful start to the term and we look forward to many more special musical moments in the weeks ahead!

Music lessons are not only a time to sing and play instruments, but also an opportunity for our children to build confidence, develop listening skills and work together as a team. We are excited to see their love for music continue to grow as they explore new sounds, songs and cultures throughout the term. Through movement, rhythm and hands-on music-making, our students are discovering the joy of expressing themselves creatively. These experiences help to nurture a lifelong appreciation for music in a fun and supportive environment.
