Grade Rs Visit to Boys’ College

Junior Preparatory, Campus

Our Grade R students enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to the Boys’ College, where Mr Jelley and Mrs Betchoo guided them through a wonderful exploration of the human body.

The children learned about different parts of the skeleton and discovered how various organs work together to keep our bodies healthy and strong. They were especially fascinated as they interacted with a skeleton and body model, carefully observing the many tiny bones in the hands and feet.

A highlight of the visit was admiring the skull of a lion - the children were in awe of its large canines and powerful jaw! They also had the opportunity to examine a giraffe skull, sparking curiosity and many thoughtful questions.

The children watched an engaging educational video about the body’s organs and learned how each one plays an important role in creating our amazing bodies. This was a wonderful synergy opportunity between our schools, and our Grade R students gained so much from this hands-on experience.
