A Journey through the Boys' College - Academics

September 30, 2021 | Boys’ College

At the Boys’ College, we aspire to promote an academic culture which develops the whole student and does not just impart knowledge. We endeavour to respond to the diversity of each student’s learning needs, embracing our model of inclusive education. Each student is challenged to optimise their literacy, creative thinking and problem solving in the context of meaningful learning. We encourage our students to study a breadth of subjects – to focus on the skill building of communication, collaboration, engagement and management of information and knowledge – rather than the pure learning of content.

In keeping with the influence of technology on education, St Stithians Boys' College offers a range of computing and information technology systems that enable all boys to understand and utilise latest technical innovations for learning. We provide a core curriculum that leads to the development of age-appropriate skills, concepts, and critical thinking.
