Girls’ Preparatory News

This morning was the official opening and blessing of the 2015 Grade 7 gift to the school.

Congratulations to Daniela Nash (Grade 6), who was invited to perform at the “Showcase of Champions” as she was a gold medal winner at SA Champs for The Performing Arts; held at the Lyric Theatre on 19 October.

Five of our St Stithians Preparatory school children participated on Saturday at the triathlon which took place at Sun City. Every participant completed their events, in swimming, cycling and running.

Sarah Church, one of our Grade 7s, has broken the 800m record at Prestige Athletics.

Our Grade 7s take the most beautiful photographs in the early morning as part of their Photography Club programme.

Our Grade 6 girls have achieved outstanding results in the recent dance competitions.

At the Girls' Prep, we joined in the UN's drive to be a part of the WORLD's LARGEST LESSON.

Claudia Dobson represented South Africa at the 8th World Karate Federation (WKF), Commonwealth Karate Championship in New Delhi, India from 18 - 20 September 2015 with style.

We are so proud of our Equestrian Team!

GP shared in the Heritage Day festivities, wearing their own heritage clothes. What a privilege to be part of such a diverse community! Funds raised will go towards The Sunshine Centre, our Grade 6 community engagement.

Welcome to our Teddy Bear Auction. All bears were donated to the Girls' Prep and we are auctioning them off as a fundraising initiative.

One of our Grade 4s, Stephanie Barbaglia, participated in international golfing competitions. We are so proud of this incredible young player!
