Our GP Karate Champion does it again

She is the Commonwealth Champion, winning a Gold medal for Individual Female Kumite (defence fighting) U14 years 47+ kg.  In addition, she won a Bronze medal for Individual Female Kata (form) U14 years, making her the only South African to win 2 medals and the only South African to win a medal for kata.The Championship attracted more than 600 top athletes and delegations from 10 countries, including: India, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, South Africa, Botswana, and Malaysia.

This is the second time that Claudia has represented South Africa at the WKF Commonwealth Karate Championships.  In 2013, she was not only selected to receive her official Protea Colours endorsed by SASCOC, but won a Silver medal for kumite and a Bronze medal for kata at the 7th Commonwealth Karate Championship in Montreal, Canada.  To compete at these events is an incredible and outstanding achievement.
