Shavathon 2016

February 18, 2016 | Campus | Author: Kim Urquhart

Today, Thursday 18th February 2016, a team of approximately 45 staff volunteers managed to spray close on 2 800 students and staff in less than 4 hours in support of the CANSA Shavathon, one of South Africa’s best-loved events in support of a very worthy cause.

A number of brave boys and teachers also chose to shave their heads to show solidarity with those affected by cancer.

Approximately 400 cans of spray were used and just over R100 000 was raised.

Thank you to all our families for supporting this initiative which is the adopted outreach project for the staff of the various Campus Administration Departments.

Saints really made a world of difference today.
