Sharing Time: Christmas spirit in Ivory Park

December 01, 2015 | Boys’ Preparatory

Our Methodist faith has allowed us the luxury of anticipating the birth of Christ and the celebration of the gift that he is to mankind. Our faith as our foundation, together with our values and Saints Honour encourages One and All to live a life of serving, giving and to share love, hope and joy to our fellow man.

Our Grade 6 boys and parents put action to these words and during the Ivory Park Christmas Party, each class shared the Christmas spirit.

Our boys witnessed first-hand one of the most meaningful parts of Christmas which is more than simply experiencing happiness, but in sharing this joy with those in need.

It is the spirit of sharing the joy and happiness of the festive season with those less fortunate that really makes Christmas a magical time of the year.

Thank you to the boys, staff and parents who abundantly gave gifts, time and energy towards this initiative.

The prep Ivory Park parent committee was the driving force behind this heart-warming experience – we are all grateful to you for giving us this opportunity to start our individual Christmas journey and to truly experience the gift of sharing joy.
