Open Day at Saints

Open Day at the Girls' College is entirely student driven and an opportunity for prospective girls and their parents to see in our girls in action.  It is quite unique when one considers what other schools do to market their school.  Visitors register with the PR committee and are given a booklet, a lovely "give away" this year it was a branded pencilcase and are divided up into groups.  There is a brief welcome from the Head and the Chair of the PR committee and then the 2 hour interactive tour begins.  PR guides take their groups to the various stations around the school where they are introduced to the other committees like sport, culture, academics, jabulani (spirit), spirituality, Round Square etc.  Those girls then share a short presentation and answer any queries.  The group then move onto the next committee at another venue in the school, thereby showing off the spaces at the College en route to the next destination.

This has been a very successful experience for our school and judging by the comments on the application forms - something that everyone has enjoyed too as part of their Saints Journey.
