Matric Results Press Coverage 2023
Our St Stithians College Matric results always garner a lot of media interest due to the inspiring results and stories of our students - and this year was no different. Well done to our wonderful Saints Ambassadors. We share with you some of the highlight coverage.
TELEVISION INTERVIEWS
Ethan Gondo (St Stithians Boys' College- Head Boy 2023) and Jozi Nupen, (St Stithians Girls' College Head Girl 2023) interviewed first thing in the morning on 18 January 2023 by Newzroom Afrika anchor (and Old Stithian Dux Scholar), Ayanda Nyathi.

St Stithians College Matric students, Anri van der Walt, Byron Grobler and Hester Oelofse talk to eNuus about completing their matric in an english school with Afrikaans as their home language. We congratulate these inspiring students on their results.

The inspiring stories of many of our top achievers were shared with the media ahead of the matric results release (embargoed of course) and these resulted in three wonderful stories appearing in the media on the day of the Matric results release - 18 january 2024. We congratulate Isabella, Jozi and Thomas on this great coverage.
Isabella Strydom received 100% for art and a further 5 distinctions.
Jozi Nupen, Head Girl of St Stithians GIrls' College received 7 distictions and was featured in The Citizen newspaper on 18 January 2024.
Thomas Madidimalo, a Thandulwazi Academic Scholarship student received 8 distinctions. He was featured In The Citizen on 18 January 2024.
St Stithians College ran a message of celebration in the ieb supplement to congratulate the Class of 2023, One and All.
