Grade RRR Goes to the Polls!

| Campus, Junior Preparatory

The Grade RRR children took part in their very own free and fair election, where they were given the opportunity to have their say and vote for a special class activity before the end of term. The three choices on the ballot paper were a Movie Day, a Picnic or Bubbles and Outdoor Play.

We were delighted to see a 97% voter turnout, with the children taking their voting responsibilities very seriously! After the votes were counted, the results were as follows:

  • Movie Day: 19 votes
  • Picnic: 7 votes
  • Bubbles and Outdoor Play: 6 votes

With 19 out of 32 votes, Movie Day was declared the winner! This means that our Grade RRRs can look forward to a special Movie Day, complete with popcorn, before the end of term.

A big thank you to our R³EC (Grade RRR Electoral Commission) for ensuring everything ran smoothly. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience democracy in action, learn about making choices, respecting different opinions and understanding that every vote counts.

The people have spoken… and it looks like popcorn is on the menu!
