Looking After our World

A visit to the recycling depot has awakened the children’s awareness of the plight of our world. Passionate about recycling, reducing and reusing, the Grade R children are an example to us all as they collect their litter and recycle bottle tops, bread tags and anything else they can find.

The vegetable garden, fertilised by compost from the recycling depot, was a wonderful opportunity to introduce the concept of ‘replacing’.

If the Grade R’s can do it , so can we !!
