Junior Prep go Green

The Grade 1 children have been planting indigenous seedlings into empty 2 litre bottles. The seedlings and flowers have improved the aesthetics of our brick walls and been educational for the children to see the benefits of these mini ‘green houses’. They have also planted mini vegetable gardens outside each Grade 1 classroom. The children take turns to water their vegetable gardens daily and weed them. Not that they have needed much watering recently.
