Grade RR Mother’s Day Morning

On 11 May the Grade RR Piazza was filled with much excitement as the mothers and loved ones entered the classroom for the Mother’s Day Tea. The morning started with a welcome from Mrs Chalufu, who then spoke about the diverse songs and rhymes that the students would sing in celebration. The students sang lullabies, nursery rhymes and songs that celebrated their mothers. After singing, the students and special guests got an opportunity to share the muffins the children had baked. They also showed their moms their favourite part of the classroom. It was heart-warming to see the joy experienced by all. The teachers had asked the children a few questions about their moms and the mothers were entertained by their children’s responses as well as seeing their portraits drawn by their children. It was a wonderful morning for One and All.
