First day of school in the Junior Prep

Wednesday 12 January was an exciting day as the Junior Prep teachers at Saint Stithians welcomed their new children.

Grade RR and Grade R areas were filled with enthusiastic parents and happy children who were ready to embark on their journey at St Stithians College.

Even with masks on, you could see the happiness and anticipation on their faces.

The Grade 1 children were in high spirits and were proud to wear their white collared golf shirt . They had an extra spring in their step and walked in with great confidence.

The Grade 2 children and parents went to their classrooms to meet their teacher. They had definitely grown a few centimeters over the holiday and you could see they were ready to be the leaders and seniors in the Junior Prep.

The corridors were filled with laughter. When the children spotted a friend they gave them ‘air hugs’ and you could see the smile behind their masks. Parents gave their children one last hug and kiss before telling them how much they were loved.

The children went into class and were ready to officially kick start their 2022 school year.
