At the Girls' College, we hold service as one of our highest callings, living out our commitment to belong, to learn, to lead, and—importantly—to serve. Through service, we discover fulfilment, meaning, and true happiness. It is in reaching out to others that we find our greatest strength and our deepest purpose.

Once again, St Stithians Girls' College partnered with Swaragano NPO, an organisation founded by Mpho and her mother in 2021 during the lockdown. Recognising the need for food among the children in their informal settlement, Swaragano began as a heartfelt response to ensure no child went hungry. Today, Mpho continues to rely on donations to feed the children in her community every day. We were privileged to come alongside this organisation to bring festive cheer these holidays.

One reason our ethos of ‘One and All’ springs to life is that we believe our unique co-ordinate model and our beautiful ‘green lung’ 105-hectare campus in Johannesburg give us a unique opportunity to integrate both outdoor education and the latest educational technologies

That’s a wrap for this year’s edition of the Saints Water Polo Invitational which once again delivered an incredible four days of college water polo. Thank you #OneAndAll.

Our Matric students enabled their legacy to take root at the College by planting 51 trees.

The annual JP to Matric Journey event celebrates those students who joined the Saints family in the Junior Prep and are now completing their education in matric.

Congratulations to our Summer Sports captains for the 2024/2025 season

St Stithians College, in partnership with Scripture Union hosted its inaugural Youth Worship event. This year's theme, 'Salvation for All' (aligned with Wesleyan theology), complemented the campus theme, 'One for All, and All for One.' The event was a resounding success, attracting participants from diverse backgrounds and fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

Just before half term, we were delighted to welcome the arrival of a delegation of twelve students and two teachers from fellow Round Square school, Ballarat Grammar, from just outside Melbourne, Australia.

In honour of Mandela Day, our GC students, parents and College Ops Dept collaborated with Leratong Primary School in Orlando East, for what we are calling "Mandela Month". Promoting reading, through the donation of books and the creation of educational toys, the opening of the library this Mandela Day was special!

The Girls’ College Grade 11 students embarked on a vibrant isiZulu Cultural Tour over half term, exploring the rich traditions, history, and language of the Zulu culture. From engaging with local communities to experiencing traditional music, dance, and cuisine, it was an unforgettable journey of learning and connection.
