World Read Aloud Day

Today the Junior Prep shared in a worldwide event in recognition of the importance of reading: World Read Aloud Day.
The children had the opportunity to listen to a special story read to them by a staff member other than their class teacher.
Research shows that reading aloud to children everyday puts them almost a year ahead of children who are not read to on a daily basis. Read to your child and allow them to step into a world of imagination.
