Saints Girls' Rowing Club with Ursula Grobler (Olympic Rower)

Ursula Grobler came to visit St Stithians Girls' College recently to share her experiences from the Rio Olympic Games. Our Grade 7s joined us at that assembly. Thanks to Mr Carel Nolte Chair of our Council who through RMB made this possible. The rowing club were thrilled to be able to pose with their hero after her motivating talk where she shared how she used visualisation techniques to perform at the highest level.  Her accounts of the highs and lows of that International competition were real for everyone in the room who had watched that final rowing race.  She shared how she handled this after years and years of hard work.  It was a message that could be transferred to academics and all walks of life.
