STAR WALK

SUPPORT S.T.A.R (STAND TOGETHER AGAINST RAPE)  

The feminist organization my friends and I founded called "African Feminism" in partnership with other organizations around Johannesburg such as "Matrix Men" and "Slut Walk Johannesburg" have been working tirelessly to organize a S.T.A.R. (Stand Together Against Rape) Walk which was held on the 12th of September. Articles about it were published in newspapers and promoted via various social media platforms. This event addresses a matter which greatly affects women, and it's imperative that young women are given the opportunity to actively partake in the struggle to end rape culture.
