Our staff have also been shining this season: rowing coach James Buchanan has been appointed as the head coach for the South African boys' sculls.
Tegan Korevaar was one of six U17 girls selected to represent the South African Schools Rowing Union to race in the Wallingford Regatta at Eton College and the Bedford Amateur Regatta in England in May. The Wallingford Regatta at Eton College is on the 2012 Olympic course. Tegan's quad won the bronze medal at the Senior South African Rowing Championships during the holidays. She is pictured below receiving her certificate from two of SA's Olympic gold medalists John Smith and James Thompson.
