Results and photographs from Rowing Regattas this season:

ST MARY'S REGATTA

  • U 16 Doubles – Madison Crews and Kate Pringle – 2nd
  • U16 B Doubles – Jennavive Williams and Katie Tyndall-Biscoe – 3rd

VCL SPRINTS REGATTA

  • The U14 Oct won a bronze medal.
  • U14A Scull, Sheyanne Calenborne came 4th.
  • U14B quad came 4th.
  • The U15 quad (Jemma Jenkins-Ferret, Jordan Korevaar, Sydney Davison, Heather Tanner & Dominiq Dos Reis (cox)) won the bronze medal.
  • Jemma Jenkins-Ferret & Heather Tanner came 6th in the U15 double.
  • Tegan Korevaar won the silver medal in the woman's sculls race (contested by schools and universities).
  • She also won a silver medal in the B final rowing in the four for Wits University. Rain de Jager (matric 2015) was also in the boat.
  • Jordan Korevaar came 4th in the U15 sculls.

BUFFALO REGATTA AND SELBORNE SPRINTS

Selborne Sprints Results:

  • U16 1x- Madison Crews 2nd and Kate Pringle 4th
  • U16 2x- Jennavieve Williams and Bethany Williamson 4th.

Buffalo Regatta:

  • U16 1x- Madison Crews 4th
  • U16 2x- Jennavieve Williams and Bethany Williamson 2nd
  • U16 4x- Madison Crews, Jennavieve Williams, Kate Pringle, Bethany Williamson and coxed by Kathryn Tyndale-Biscoe won silver.
  • 2nd doubles- Alessandra Gain and Shannen Etter placed 3rd.
  • 1st 1x- Tegan Korevaar placed 3rd
  • And 1st quad the girls placed 5th.
  • We made history by being the first girls to win the first ever junior women's 1st 8 event. The girls won this by a land slide- 15.47 seconds.

JEPPE REGATTA:

  • Jordan Korevaar won the bronze medal in the sculls 
  • Jordan & Sydney Davison won the bronze medal in the double.
  • Tegan Korevaar won gold in the sculls.
  • Tegan & Nicole Masson won bronze in the double.
  • The U15 quad (Jemma Jenkins-Ferrit, Jordan Korevaar, Sydney Davison, Heather Tanner & Bianca Gain (cox)) competed in the U16 B final and won by an impressive 46.41 seconds.
  • The U14 Oct came 2nd after Assumption collided with them allowing Holy Rosary to row past our team.  Silver medals.
