At the recent Inter Provincial Water Polo SA Schools Nationals in Cape Town in December we had 17 representatives in the teams for Central Gauteng Province with 4 of our girls captaining the sides:

Under 19A Girls                Natasha Assenmacher (St Stithians) (Vice Captain)
Under 16B Girls                Jade de Souza (St Stithians) (Captain)
Under 15A Girls                Leila Fernandes (St Stithians) (Captain)
Under 14A Girls                Zanne Smit (St Stithians) (Captain)

Gold Medals were won by U19, U16, U15 teams and Natasha Assenmacher our school captain for 2014 and 2015 was chosen to represent the U19 SA tournament team at the end of what was a fabulous competition for Girls' Water Polo in Gauteng.  The U14 team won bronze.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce too that 3 of our U16 players have been selected for a South African Squad to hopefully be chosen to represent their country at the Pan Pacific Games in New Zealand in July.  All the best to Leila Fernandes, Kate Hinrichs and Cassidy Hanna (all in Gr 10).
