Please forgive the cliche, but life is too short.

The grit, humour and “Life is too short notion” of many of our boys is often seen as typical attitudes of boys, but at the same time, it is an attitude that helps us teachers keep our feet on the ground and the gift of our work in perspective. Our boys teach us simple lessons without them realising it. Our boys live life fully and manage to balance a busy academic, sporting and cultural program while still “keeping it real” and being boys:

Our boys remind us:

Life is too short to be anything other than who we should be and who we are needed to be by those in whom we are invested in.

Life is too short not to pour our hearts and soul into people. Our relationships. Our story. Our hopes. Our dreams. Your hopes. Your dreams. Your story.

Funny how often they coincide, because we feel the conscious life of a staff member at Boys Prep is selfless and we want to serve others and connect meaningfully with others.

Life is too short to worry about 4:00 at 2:00. Realistically, life breaks hearts sometimes. It’s beautiful too. It’s vast. Simple. Small. It’s too short not to soak in every moment when the moment is here.

Life is too short to be afraid of the future. Our boys are ingeniously always in the present, always alive.

Whilst we are rambling on, Life is too short not to ramble every now and then.

Life is too short to try and keep prepositions off the end of sentences when there are so many other things to worry about.

Enjoy the few photos posted which show One and All that our boys live life in the present and aim to live it fully.
