One Beat, Many Hearts: The Girls’ Prep Silent Disco
At St Stithians Girls’ Prep, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom walls. It is found in the moments where our community comes together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories. This past Saturday, Middle Dam transformed into a vibrant sea of neon and light for our highly anticipated PTA Silent Disco, an evening that perfectly captured the heart of the Saints Journey.
Girls’ Prep is a place where we focus on more than just academic excellence. We are dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging through synergy, uniting a community. Our goal is to create an environment "where welcome meets wonder," ensuring every student feels valued and belongs.
Our Silent Disco event was a spectacular display community building and a school for family. Students arrived dressed in their most creative neon outfits, adorned with glow sticks that pulsed to the music only they could hear through their headsets. It was a night of pure joy, laughter, and dance, providing our girls a chance to shine in a fun, relaxed setting.
An event of this scale is only possible through the incredible strength of our parent body. We are overwhelmed by the support of the GP PTA and the over 45 parent volunteers who made the night seamless. From the meticulous set-up and energetic sales to the late-night clean-up and generous prize donations, our parents truly embody our culture of care, showing this through actions.
As the sun set and the neon lights took over, it was clear that we were doing more than just hosting a party. We were building One Legacy. By coming together, we reinforce the community bonds that support our students throughout their time at St Stithians and beyond.
Thank you to every volunteer, staff member, and student who made this Saturday so special. You are the heartbeat of our school!
