Jamie Croly, the head rowing coach at St Stithians Girls’ College has been offered the position of Assistant Women’s Rowing Coach at Oregon State University in the USA.

Jamie has been coaching rowing at St Stithians for 15 years, and has held a permanent staff position for 11 years. Jamie’s numerous successes with the Girls’ College club, as well as in his capacity as a senior women’s coach, led him to be snapped up by Oregon State, currently ranked in the top 20 in the USA.

During his time at Saints, Jamie has led his crews to 12 SA Schools’ Titles (Gold) and a further 19 silver or bronze medals. His junior rowers have also won over 40 other medals SA Champs. He has coached the SA Junior and SA University teams on 8 occasions with 3 World A Finals and 2 Medals at the World University Games. He is a member of the SASRU Executive and previous Chairman of Gauteng School’s Rowing Federation.
