Congratulations to our swimmers on their awesome swimming at the annual prestige inter high gala.  Saints finished in 3rd place after St Mary's and St Andrew's.

St Stithians won the following events:

  • U14/U15 4x50m Backstroke relay - 2:20,30 Raquel Correia, Becky Wallis, Nina Madden, Emma Tarr  (2:18,16 record - St Stithians 2015)
  • U15 50m Breastroke - 36,10 Leigh Hudson (35,94 record - Pretoria GHS 1990)
  • U15 4x50m Medley Relay - Emma Tarr, Leigh Hudson, Tyla Panzera, Joelle Lamprecht (2:10,54 record - St Mary's 2015)
  • U14 50m Freestyle - 29,93 - Gina Miller (28,75 record - St Andrew's 1988)
  • U14/U15 4x50m Breastroke Relay - 2:38,13 - Gina Miller, Laura Gilardi, Mekah Ferrini, Leigh Hudson (2:33,47 - St Stithians 2015)
  • U15 50m Backstroke - 34:19 - Emma Tarr (30,08 record - Kingsmead 1997)
  • U15 50m Butterfly - 33:35 - Tyla Panzera (29,96 record - St Andrew's 2006)
  • U15 4x50m Freestyle Relay - 2.01:22 - Joelle Lamprecht, Emma Wallis, Tyla Panzera, Emma Tarr (1:57,39 record - St Andrew's 2008)

At the St Peter's Night Gala we teamed up with the BC and managed to win the gala for the 2nd year in a row, despite many of our swimmers being away at a National gala in Durban.
