Grade Four Live Wax Museum
March the 7th 2024 marked a day of enlightenment and wonder at St Stithians Boys' Prep as the Grade Four students embarked on an unforgettable journey through history. In a dazzling display of creativity and insight, they brought to life an array of iconic figures in our Live Wax Museum. Preparation for this grand event had been underway for weeks, with students immersing themselves in the lives of remarkable individuals such as Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Narendra Modi and FW De Klerk. Each character was meticulously researched and passionately portrayed, showcasing the diverse tapestry of leadership and innovation that has shaped our world. Under the guidance of their teachers and with the support of the school's Design and Technology and Drama teachers, the students poured their hearts and souls into their presentations. The result was nothing short of extraordinary.
As visitors wandered through our 'Living Museum’, they were greeted by the powerful presence of historical giants. With a press of a button, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his iconic "I Have a Dream" speech, Imtiaz Suleman shared his vision for a better future, Walt Disney ignited imaginations with his creative genius, and Greta Thunberg inspired action for environmental change.
The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by our Grade Four students was palpable, reflecting not only the boys' passion for learning but also their profound understanding of the impact these leaders have had on society. It was a testament to their creativity, insight and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the world. As the curtains closed on this remarkable showcase, we were left in awe at the brilliance and potential of our young students. Their ability to channel the spirit of these historical figures with such authenticity and depth was truly inspiring. Bravo, Grade Four, for an exhibition that will be remembered for years to come!
