After a drought of more than 16 years – St Stithians Girls’ College are the proud winners of the JOHANNESBURG GIRLS’ INTER HIGH SWIMMING TROPHY.  St Stithians Girls’ College last won this trophy in 1998 and 1999, St Mary’s won it from 2000 to 2003 and St Andrews have held it from 2004 to 2014.

An outstanding performance in the pool by the team under the direction of their coach Natasha Panzera saw St Stithians break 3 records and were placed 1st in 13 and 2nd in 10 of the 30 events.  At the St Mary’s Summer Splash the same team swimming with their preparatory school broke 10 records and set 9 of them in what was an awesome start to the season.  When scores from the diving were added to the swimming – Saints were delighted to also receive the COMBINED DIVING AND SWIMMING SHIELD.
