December 10, 2020 | Girls’ College | Author: Dr Sally James

On Tuesday, 24 November, the Girls’ College PTA celebrated the year past and paid tribute to the outgoing members who have served this committee with passion and commitment. The GC PTA has played a key role in keeping our parent community informed and supported throughout this extraordinary year.

Mrs Verity Breetzke has served our PTA for the past two years. Her positive and enthusiastic manner have been so appreciated by this team. Mr Suveer Ramdhani has been an energetic Deputy Chair who has played a key role in supporting the PTA and our Chair. Suveer’s term of office has come to an end, and we are most grateful for his commitment to this group.

Mrs Megan Rogers is thanked as the outgoing GC PTA Chair. Megan has served the PTA for the past few years as a parent representative and has been in the Chair position for the past two years. Megan has balanced her busy life in the corporate sector, as a supportive mom and involved parent with aplomb. We thank Megan for her servant leadership. This is not a final farewell to Megan as she will continue to serve and support our community in her role as Deputy Chair of Council.

We are excited with the election of our new PTA Chair and Deputy, Mr Malose Kekane and Mrs Tshidi Jauste, who will take on these portfolios, respectively.  We wish them well as they take on this responsibility going forward.
