Sanaa Africa Festival

Thank you to all who participated and performed in the festival, especially the Girls’ College and Prep Choirs, the competitors in the Slam Poetry, our young artists who exhibited and worked with the panel of professional artists, the Saints Dance Crew who captivated the whole school with their powerful contemporary piece choreographed to the soulful tunes of Veliswa Mehana, our FEDA Drama performers and technical crew, the genre crews and all the staff who worked behind the scenes to bring about this incredible cultural festival.

Saints Dance - a celebration of excellence. The song that the girls perform to has been recorded by one of our alumni Veliswa Mehana (Deputy Head Girl 2012), and the choreography has been a collaborative work by Victoria Andre and Veronica Louw (both Grade 11) and one of the drama teachers Mrs Henning. The dancers are comprised of girls from Grade 8-12.
