The Cape Town Reunion proved to be a standout event, bringing together 200 Old Stithians from Stellenbosch and Cape Town for two evenings of camaraderie, networking, and shared memories. Hosted as a Cocktail Party, the event created a warm and engaging atmosphere, strengthened by the generosity of an Old Stithian who sponsored an exquisite selection of wines- thank you Chris Mullineux, Class of 1994!  We also had Old Stithian, Delaine Immelman who sponsored a variety of Longridge wines for our Cape Town Reunion.

Held at scenic venues with breathtaking views, the reunions provided alumni with the opportunity to reconnect, exchange professional insights, and reminisce about their days at St Stithians. Attendees spanned multiple generations, from recent graduates to seasoned professionals, reflecting the strength and depth of the OSA network.

The Stellenbosch evening showcased an address by key alumni-Carel Nolte, Class of ’91 on the importance of community building and belonging and how the relationship with Stellenbosch University is building that with Saints Alumni.

Gavin Meiring, Deputy Chairman of the OSA also emphasized the importance of staying connected and contributing to the school’s ongoing success. There was also an exciting announcement about upcoming initiatives aimed at expanding the OSA’s presence in the Cape, ensuring that Old Stithians living in the region remain engaged and supported.

The reunions brought to life the 2025 theme, A Family of Schools. A School for Family, highlighting that our Old Stithians are still very much a part of our Saints Family - #OnceASaintAlwaysASaint.
