Community Engagement

Tirisano Primary School visit

A bus full of primary school children from Tirisano Primary School arrived at about 8:30 where they were welcome by students and staff under the direction of Ms Jennifer Judd (Old Stithian Student and now maths staff member). Pupils were divided into student led groups and started a series of extremely creative rotations exploring Art, Robotics, Games, Maths and Reading.  They were then given lunch packs that were provided by the Saints girls before they boarded their bus to return home.

High Tea for our Community Engagement Partnerships

Grade 8 students from St Stithians Girls' College provided a wonderful High Tea event for members of the community from the following agencies:

Donovan Mcdonald retirement Home, Bethany Home, Bella vista Home, Sonneglans Park Retirement Village and Frederic Place Old Age Home.  Entertainment was provided by the students from St Stithians College who performed musical items to accompany the scrumptious high tea that had been arranged by the students in grade 8.  Mrs Vicky Chilvers is the Director of Community Engagement at the Girls' College and she was supported by the music staff and members of staff who gave up their Saturday with the wonderful students at the Girls' College to provide joy and happiness for the invited guests.
