Please join the Girls’ College in congratulating Mrs Cordelia Thobile Nkosi-Mnanzana on her appointment into the newly created Girls’ College Deputy position – Girls’ Education. We are certain that Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana and Mrs Prinsloo will make a formidable deputy team!    

Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana hails from Soweto and holds a BEd degree specialising in Mathematics, as well as an Honours degree in Education Management and Law. Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana has much experience in girls’ education, having spent seven years at St Andrew’s School for Girls, where she taught Mathematics and played a key role in nurturing and caring for students in the girls’ boarding environment. Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana spent three years at the Nova Pioneer Academy in Ormonde, where she headed up the Mathematics Department as the senior teacher. During this time, she had experience with the IGCSE and A-Level Cambridge curricula.

Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana is no stranger to the Saints family, having spent two years as Programme Director at the Thandulwazi Maths and Science Academy. Mrs Nkosi-Mzanzana is currently part of the Nova Pioneer management team, where she is the Global Cultural Manager, a role that has involved catalysing and co-ordinating the culture-building process across the Nova Pioneer school network in South Africa and Kenya.

Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana is married to Tebogo and together they have a 5-year-old daughter, Nosiphiwe. Luyanda, Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana’s sister, is currently a Grade 11 student in the Girls’ College. We warmly welcome the Nkosi-Mnanzana family to the Girls’ College community, and we wish God’s blessing on Mrs Nkosi-Mnanzana as she joins us on this exciting journey in January 2021.
