Claudia has been selected to represent the Gauteng Karate Federation for both Kata (form) and Kumite (defence fighting) at the Karate SA National Trials and Championship in Durban in March.

BIANCA PRINSLOO, SAMANTHA GREEN & AMY JOUBERT - WATER POLO
Won gold playing for the u16 Gauteng Water Polo team at the 2015 SA Inter provincial championships held in CT in December.  

NATASHA ASSENMACHER - WATER POLO
Natasha captain from 2015 played in the U19A Gauteng side and was selected for the SA U19 Schools team.

LEILA FERNANDES, ALEXIA GALATIS, CASSIDY HANNA, KATE HINRICHS & UNA DONNELLY - WATER POLO
Won gold playing for the U15A Gauteng water polo team at the 2015 SA Interprovincial championships held in CT in December.  Leila, Kate and Cassidy have been selected for the SA u16 training squad.

Amy, Kate and Bianca were selected for the Tournament team for water polo at the Old Mutual Tournament.

Bianca was selected to represent SA u17 A water polo side to compete in the CANA IV zone tournament against Zimbabwe in Durban.  She will be travelling to Denmark at the end of March to participate in the EU Nations U17 water polo tournament.  Bianca is also part of the U18 Squad. At the Old Petrians Tournament Bianca was selected to represent the Tournament team and was awarded the trophy for the Best Defender.

CAITLIN KLAASSEN - TENNIS

Caitlin is playing in the Key Health Tennis Tournament together with Nationals in Bloemfontein which are back to back from  19/03/2016 to 29/03/2016.  She also played the trials and was selected to represent Gauteng Province in the Under 19 A team. This Interprovincial tournament will be played on 31/03/2016 to 03/04/2016 in Pretoria.

JESSICA ASSENMACHER - TENNIS
Jessica played in the International IFS U18 tournament and beat the number 5 and 3 seeds to advance to the semi-finals where she lost to the first seed.

TAYLA VAN ECK - TENNIS

Tayla played in the Gauteng North Open Dunlop TSA series in Pretoria. She won the open singles, doubles and mixed events without dropping a set. We are very proud of her and this outstanding achievement. 

CAMRYN DOUBELL & JESSICA SCHMID - SAILING 
Camryn and Jess sailed 12 races over the course of 4 and a half days, up against the top 2 boys teams in SA. They placed second in two races, this was quite an achievement for Camryn and her crew member Jessica.  They had a lot of fun and we were extremely happy with the outcome at the end of the week. They are now training for the ISAF Youth Worlds event selection. The selection takes place in June in Durban. 

LEIGH HUDSON - SWIMMING

Leigh has qualified to swim in the Level 3 Nationals which will be held in PE from the 18 - 23 March. She is also part of the SA Elite Youth and will be attending the Olympic trials.

GINA MILLER - SWIMMING

Gina swam in the SA Schools Swimming Championships in held in Pretoria in December and came home with 7 Medals. She medalled in every race she swam.

Have qualified for the SA Youth Swimming Championships and will be competing at the SA Senior Nationals as an Olympic Qualifier.

RAQUEL CORREIA, CAYLEIGH DE SOUSA, CAMRYN FENTHUM, LEIGH HUDSON, JOELLE LAMPRECHT, NINA MADDEN, GINA MILLER, JADE MILLER, EMMA TARR, BECKY WALLIS & EMMA WALLIS have all qualified for the Level 3 Swimming Nationals in Port Elizabeth in March.

LEIGH-ANNE BEHRENS, NATASHA FINGER, TYLA PANZERA, SALLY TARR, GEORGY TURNER AND JAYME VAN WYK have all qualified for the level 2 Regional Swimming gala in March.

GABI FEDETTO - SCIENCE EXPO
As International Science Fair Director of Eskom Expo for Young Scientists would like to congratulate you and your school on the selection of Gabriella Emma Fedetto to represent South Africa at the 8th International Environmental Sustainability Project Olympiad (INESPO) that takes place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 31st May to 5th June 2016.  
At Eskom Expo International Science Fair 2015, over 479 projects were on display. Of these, 45 were awarded gold medals, 113 were awarded Silver medals and 118 were awarded Bronze medals.  For International participation 2 were selected to participate at Taiwan International Science Fair, 7 Intel ISEF – Phoenix, Arizona, USA, 2 for INESPO – Netherlands, Amsterdam, , and 3 for ISWEEEP- Houston, USA .

Dani danced a solo and a duet at SA Champs and both dances were selected to go forward as a National Finalist for the SA Championships of Performing Arts 2016. The next round is the final round for the SA Championships of Performing Arts and is held in Rustenburg from 1 to 10 April.

Taryn returned from her exchange at Gordonstoun in Scotland last year.  Taryn was praised for the way she conducted herself both on and off the field and was awarded hockey colours in front of the whole of Gordonstoun in their chapel.
