Synergy Arts Festival

The annual combined Girls’ Prep and Boys’ Prep Arts Festival proved to be a jam-packed day of participation in performing, visual and literary art. From being spellbound by the shows, Peter and the Wolf and Making Mandela, to boomwacking, beading, drumming, food art, zumba dancing and storytelling, girls and boys had no shortage of entertainment and learning. The girls and boys had the best of what Johannesburg has to offer in the disciplines of Arts and Culture as every item on the programme made use of professional and successful commercial organisations. These synergy days fulfil our College’s aim to offer a monastic school environment, punctuated by days of involvement in ‘co-educational’ activities. What an unforgettable day of fun and hands-on learning which not even the incessant rain was able to dampen!
