Saints Water Polo Invitational 2021

October 24, 2021 | Campus

Thursday the 21st October saw the kick off of our 2021 Saints Water Polo Invitational.  This is the 27th Annual event and this year, due to the St Stithians College 50m pool being out of commission due to the FINA spec upgrade that it is currently undergoing, St Benedict's in Bedfordview played host to the Boys' section this weekend.

The weekend was an awesome one with some really great polo games on offer. With the updated Government Gazette being released late on Friday, we were grateful to welcome spectators back onto our Campuses to enjoy the action live.  Thank you to the participants and spectators for adhering to our Covid protocols - we so appreciate the manner in which visitors and players respected the guidelines and prioritised the safety of One and All.

We share with you the final results of the tournament as well as the tournament teams and prize winners:

Congratulations to One and All who participated in this year's edition of our Saints Water Polo Invitational - it was great to be back this year after not being able to host in 2020 and we look forward to hosting the whole memorable tournament back on site at our Saints Aquatics Centre next year.

We thank our parents and spectators, near and far, for your support and understanding with the streaming challenges encountered with our new AI technology on site at St Stithians.

We hope that we provided a happy and memorable experience for our participants. We are extremely grateful to the many staff, parents and our headline sponsor,Tecno who have worked tirelessly amid the many challenges we currently face, to ensure our students experienced the joy of the Saints Water Polo Invitational.
